Our Testing

At Haypp, we take product safety seriously, even for nicotine pouches, which are not currently regulated under the Tobacco Products Directive (TPD). Although these products fall under the UK’s general product safety laws, we apply the same rigorous standards as we do to our vape range to ensure every product is safe, reliable, and of the highest quality. 

• Product Testing: All nicotine pouch products are carefully tested to meet industry standards. We follow the Swedish Institute for Standards (SIS/TS 72:2024) and Haypp Group’s Supplier Code of Conduct, assessing key factors such as nicotine content and pH levels. 
• Nicotine Levels: Maximum recommended nicotine per pouch is 20mg. 
• pH Levels: pH values are maintained between 5.6 and 9.1, unless a risk assessment of the final product supports a different level. 
• Clear Information: We provide transparent details about nicotine strength, allowing customers to make informed choices. 
• Responsible Marketing: Like all our products, nicotine pouches are marketed only to adults aged 18 and over. 

Nicoleaks is Haypp Group’s own testing platform, created to guarantee product quality and drive more transparency in the market. All testing is carried out by Eurofins, an independent third-party laboratory. Nicoleaks plays a key role in meeting the expectations of both our customers and society when it comes to safety, transparency and sustainability. 

Nicoleaks takes a deep look at nicotine pouches through advanced laboratory testing. The analysis covers: 

• Nicotine content 
• pH value 
• Other ingredients 

The results are made openly available to our customers and are used by us to review products, flag deviations, and give direct feedback to manufacturers. This helps to raise quality standards across the industry. 

Testing is performed by Eurofins, a leading independent laboratory. The process includes: 

• Nicotine analysis – measuring the exact nicotine content and comparing it with declared values. 
• pH analysis – checking the pH level to ensure product consistency and quality. 
• Heavy metal analysis – testing for substances beyond nicotine to confirm they are within safe limits.
