Why has the Vape Advice Line launched?
Starting from the 1st June 2025, disposable vapes will be banned in the UK. But for millions of users, this isn’t just a policy change, it’s a huge change to their everyday lives.
New research by Haypp revealed that disposable vape users are not well informed ahead of the ban, potentially leading to an increase in cigarette consumption:
- 45% of vapers mainly use disposables
- Only 27% feel confident about switching to something else
- 20% say they’d go back to smoking if they couldn’t vape anymore
And, disposable vape users in the UK aren’t just confused, they’re frustrated:
- 78% of vapers disagree with the ban
- 82% are planning to stockpile, despite serious safety concerns
- 34% are even considering illegal products
