Elf Bar ELFA Bar Review: The Basics
The Elf Bar ELFA is a refillable vape that comes in two parts: pod and battery. The new Elf Bar ELFA PRO is no different. The pods are interchangeable, so you just change them out for a new one when you run out of eliquid, and the battery is rechargeable using a USB-C charger.
Before we go into detail about the flavours and experience in this ELFA review, here are some of the key features of an Elf Bar ELFA PRO:

As you can tell from this list, the current selection of flavours is sweet (with fruit and soda options) and does not yet cater to vapers who prefer mint or less sweet vape flavours. Each ELFA pod pack comes with two 2ml pre-filled pods compatible with the ELFA bar: giving you up to 1200 puffs per refill pack.

ELFA PRO Flavours Review: Strawberry Raspberry Cherry Ice

"A classic Elf Bar flavour that is popular with MTL vapers, this unique flavour combines sweet strawberry with tart raspberry and cherry, with a cool menthol exhale. In all honesty, this flavour is one of my favourites from Elf Bar, and has the same flavour as you get from the original ELFA flavour and Elf Bar 600 version. I loved the flavour as it is not too sweet - it has a fruity flavour as you inhale, but has a cut of menthol so the flavour is not too sweet. Personally, this is still one of my Elf Bar flavour favourites - I appreciate that you can get that familiar Elf Bar flavour but with a rechargeable device!"
ELFA PRO Flavours Review: Blue Razz Lemonade

"These pods used to come with each starter kit for the ELFA vape (now, the colour you choose changes which starter pod you get with the kit), so are one of the flavours most commonly associated with the ELFA kit. These pods give me that sweet flavour I like without being too sweet as they combine tart blue raspberry with a sweet lemonade flavour. As described, the flavour balances an initial blue raspberry flavour with a lemonade flavour: the flavours balance and ensure there is a nice cut through the sweetness. While this flavour is not my absolute favourite (I prefer a flavour that has a menthol element), I am sure this ELFA flavour will remain a popular choice with UK MTL vapers who want a more cost-effective alternative to the popular Elf Bar 600 vape.”
The Elf Bar ELFA Rechargeable Device

"The Elf Bar ELFA device as well as the ELFA PRO device look very similar to the classic Elf Bar 600 disposable vape: a pen-like device that fits neatly into your pocket and comes in different colour options.
When you get your ELFA kit, it comes prepackaged with the battery, one prefilled ELFA pod and instruction manual - you need to get a USB-C cable to charge it separately.
Before using the ELFA, you have to charge it, but it only takes 30 minutes or so to get it from 0 to full charge. Getting your Elf Bar ELFA ready to use is relatively simple: you need to pop the pod into the battery/casing. The ELFA pod is held in place by magnets, so you may not feel or hear the typical “clicks” that the pod is in place, but the pod is held securely in place. The device, from our experience, gets you right through up to the last puffs without needing to be recharged - a beneficial feature! The ELFA PRO vape gives the same feel as the classic Elf Bar 600, with the device looking almost identical and usage being very similar. The number of puffs, eliquid and nic salt is the same as the Elf Bar 600 disposable pen.
These devices are super convenient to get started with - the only downsides I see are that the magnet that holds the pod in place can wear over time and the grip can be less strong, plus the USB-C charger is not included in the box. It would also be great if the LED indicator not only flashed when a pod was being removed, but also being attached to confirm you have got the pod in properly. Overall, a solid device with lots of positives, but still some room for improvement."

"Prices for the new Elf Bar rechargeable starter kit on Haypp start at £5.59 per kit. This is a similar price to other rechargeable vape kits. As for the pods, prices for these start at £4.39 for a pack of 2 pods, which again is similar to other pre-filled pods prices. What I like is that there is the choice to buy multipacks, not only so you always have your favourite flavour of ELFA PRO pods on hand but also so you get the best price (last updated November 2023)."
Elf Bar ELFA PRO Review: Overall Verdict

"The overall experience with the Elf Bar ELFA is very similar to the familiar Elf Bar 600, and that has been further upgraded with the new Elf Bar ELFA PRO thanks to the addition of the QUAQ mesh coil. The design is very similar so it gives the same familiar feel. It is also awesome to have the option to change out pods, giving the ELFA bar versatility without the complexities that come with classic refillable vapes (such as dealing with messy coils or cleaning out vape pods) and makes the ELFA accessible to vapers of all levels. This vape gives a good MTL (mouth to lung) vape experience, matching the classic Elf Bar style. The flavours are focused, levelling up flavours Elf Bar has gained a reputation for.
The main downsides to the Elf Bar ELFA are the lack of non-sweet flavour options as well as the lack of charging cable in the starter kit. When you place an ELFA pod into the battery, you get no indicator light to let you know it is properly connected like you do if you remove the pod, which would be a nice addition to see.
Overall, the ELFA is a solid vape pod and kit device and offers a good alternative to classic disposable vapes, without compromising on experience - especially if you try the new ELFA PRO."
